Immediate opening for anesthesiologist near Central Pennsylvania.

 

Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Epix Healthcare is a national provider of anesthesia, hospitalists and staffing services to community hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers and office based facilities nationwide.  Our services include practice management, billing, consulting and staffing solutions to healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities

 

We are looking for a board certified anesthesiologist to join our group servicing multiple locations throughout Central, Pennsylvania. 

Immediate opportunity at an ASC in Bethlehem, PA.

 

- No nights, No weekends , and No call required.
- Community style practice with anesthesiologists and CRNA's.
- B&B Cases; ASC does a variety of cases with eyes and ENT being the most prevalent.  Some pain management, ortho, and general surgery. 

- Must be proficient with post-op pain blocks.
- Anesthesiologist will be doing his/her own cases while there may be CRNAs doing their own cases in other ORs.  

- ASC is open Monday – Thursday every week and two Fridays per month. 

 

Compensation is competitive and includes full benefits, a generous retirement package, and 6 weeks of vacation.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an approved and accredited school of medicine or osteopathy.
  • Completion of residency in an accredited program in anesthesia.
  • Board certification in anesthesia or expected to be board certified in anesthesia within 2 years of hire.
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the state where the Facility/Facilities are located.
  • Holds current non-restricted federal DEA and state controlled substance licenses.
  • Proficient in computer technology utilized in the performance of duties.
  • Proficient in utilizing anesthesia equipment, monitoring systems, anesthetic and pain control drugs, and related supplies.
  • Holds and maintains BCLS and ACLS certification.
  • Effective communication skills in speaking and writing the English language.
